Bill has lived most of his life in Brown and Clermont Counties. He and his family recently moved to the Forest Hills School District. Bill and his wife, Barb, have two sons who recently graduated from Turpin High School where they were active in the marching band. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and in Risk Management from The Ohio State University. He also holds a Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Bill is the owner of The Lyon Group, LLC a holistic wealth advisory practice located in the Eastgate area. He is also the creator of The Holistic Balance Sheet and The Financial Navigation System. Over the years, Bill has been engaged in a number of community organizations including the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, The Mercy Health Foundation Board, The Boy Scouts, his local church and The Clermont County Chamber of Commerce where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees. He was the Raise and Manage Funds team leader for the Forest Hills Foundation before being elected president.
